Good Afternoon Morgandale Homeowners
and Residents,
It is 2:18 pm on Sunday afternoon.
Based upon local weather reports and from what we are seeing ourselves,
the snow has transitioned to sleet/freezing rain about an hour ago. This
phase of the system will continue until approximately 10 pm tonight.
The Morgandale Staff was on site
starting at 7 am today and continues to battle the monumental task of keeping
the entrances, Morgandale Drive and court entrances open. We are not
saying clear, our goal is keeping the drive and courts open. The staff
will be on site until dark, at which point they are going home for food and
rest. All of us will return tomorrow morning starting at 7 am, at which
point I will be meeting a Macadam staff member to begin snow relocation. Our staff will continue with plowing and salting. We had three
additional staff attempting to shovel courts however, they too started early
this morning however we unable to make headway due to the blowing of snow as
soon as they shoveled. They will return in the morning at 8 am to begin
shoveling. This storm is going to take several days to clear and we are
asking for your understanding and patience.
We will keep you advised as this
event progresses however we do not expect further updates today.
Sincerely, Carol V. Richard, CMCA,
